The Office of Environmental Policy and Planning (OEPP), Ministry of Natural Resources has conducted the EIA Monitoring Awards 2011 ceremony presided over by Dr. Pitaya Pookaman, Assistant to Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment at Wayupak 5-6, Centra Hotel, Convention Centre. Chaeng Watthana, Bangkok, on 26 September 2012.
There are over 4,000 investment projects in the country with EIA and monitoring reports, but only 62 of them have revealed their outstanding roles to comply with the EIA requirement. OEPP deemed appropriate to confer the awards to these 62 investment projects, and Pimai Salt Co.,Ltd. is among them.
Mr. Arun Incharoensak, PSC Plant Director, attended the ceremony and received the Awards from Dr. Pitaya Pookaman.
